Using Grip on the Valve Index controllers is very sensitive by default.

Note that this can be fixed by going into the SteamVR settings, selecting Controllers -> Show Old Bindings UI -> GameVRoom and then choosing the Controller Bindings shared by Really Interactive. This will increase the required grip pressure for triggering a grab.
